第79回国際写真サロン（朝日新聞社、全日本写真連盟主催）の審査の結果、
審査委員特別賞（海外、国内各3点）を含む、海外作品75点、国内作品45点、Ｕ30部門11点の計131点の入賞・入選が決まりました。
また、今回は新部門として「Tokyo Tokyo Old meets New部門」が加わりました。
「Tokyo Tokyo Old meets New」は、東京都が「東京ブランド」を海外に発信するキャッチフレーズ。
「江戸時代から続く伝統と最先端の文化が共存している東京」を表現しています。
「伝統と革新が共存する東京」をテーマに、人々や街並み、風景や流行など、古さと新しさが共存する東京の姿を表現する写真を募集。
1500点を超える応募の中から、最優秀賞の「Tokyo Tokyo Old meets New賞」を含む27点の入賞が決まりました。
